need your opinion between two watches *please*

If you have a need to wear the same watch that a real man wears, get yourself a Citizen Ecozilla...That's what I wear.....No girly, bling-bling watches for me...Just something solid that works.

Like this?

That's my girly-girl titanium version with the 'Liza Minelli' dive strap on my slim little 8.5-inch wrist! ;) I also have the steel version, but I only wear that when the MTM is in the shop, having the Spec-Op logo repainted! :D

How's this for a real "man's watch"? ;)

One of my Seiko Monsters, custom coated with Mil-Spec Teflon.

(Damn! They forgot to paint on that Spec-Op logo for me!!! :D )

For the eco-zilla, I am actually circling around getting one. A few questions:

1. Is the stainless that much heavier than the titanium... i.e. unwearable?

2. Is the rubber band strap big, I have thick wrists and regular bands don't fit me.

3. And now for the subjective -- is it goofy clown big, or just a big watch :) I like the looks of it but am worried it is Batman big....

Yes, yes, and...yes. :D

1. The steel model (identical size)"feels" bigger and "looks" bigger - because of the weight. If you're a big guy, it's actually very comfortable! If not, the Ti version should be fine.

2. Yes it is. My wrists are 8.5-inches and I have a couple of holes to spare. If you want more options, get a couple of custom-made adapters (you can see them on my Ti version) from Walt Alfarano. Almost every dive watch collector with an Eco-Zilla has ordered them from him! :)

3. To me (6ft-3in, 260lb, 8.5-in wrists), it's just a big watch. To Mickey Rooney, it might seem 'goofy clown big'.

Thanks for taking time to reply. That is indeed what I need to know. I will be ordering the steel version w/rubber shortly. ..

I have both of the 300m stainless versions, and I actually do like the version with the rubber strap just alittle bit better than the one with the stainless bracelet. You will be VERY pleased with the 'Zilla, but be aware that they do sit very "tall" on the wrist...These are VERY heavy-duty watches. The lume of the 'Zillas is amazing. Also, honest-to-god, but neither of mine has lost or gained more than 3-5 seconds each, for the past 2 months!
