Need Your Prayers

Thank you very much, everybody. Abby made it home yesterday afternoon. No more cords. No more tubes. Just a happy and hungry baby.

Great news! Congrats on your beautiful baby daughter. My thoughts and best wishes are with you and your family.

Congratulations to you, your wife, and your daughter. Glad to hear that everything is working out!

Congratulations on your beautiful new daughter. Hope you all are well and belated prayers are on the way for continued health. May God continue to bless you.

I'm glad things worked out ok for you. I've lived in neonatal ICU for a week or two myself, over a different but very serious problem. But now that you've made it through, it's time for the good times to start. Enjoy fatherhood!!! :) :) :)

Congrats Buzz, and I'm glad she's home already. How's the sleep deprivation going?:D

Heck, I myself survived 8 weeks in a chicken hatcher and was read last rites as a newborn. I managed to grow into a strappin' handsome overweight middle aged white guy. (Now, hopefully your daughter won't grow into the same exact thing...) They wouldn't have let her out unless things were going OK.

Get sleep when you can!

God bless ya brother. My 1st was born with some major issues, Down Syndrome, heart issues, blood oxygen problems, and she spent the first few weeks of her life in the ICU. She had so many tubes coming out of her, she looked like an explosion in a pasta factory.
I wish you all the best and I really am glad that that part of it is over for you, It was by far the most trying time in my life.
Cherish every moment with that little girl and always remember how hard things were, it keeps all the little problems in perspective.

Congratulations on your daughter coming home! It's a scary thing when they first get into the NICU, believe me I know my little one spent about 5 months up there. The day they come home you are the most relieved person in the world.

Take this time to be very grateful for those nurses and doctors who watched over her while she was there, they earn every penny they make and unfortunately they don't earn what they deserve.

Enjoy this time while she's young, the next thing you know she's sitting up, then rolling across the floor followed by crawling, and then the ultimate exercise (physically, mentally and in patience) the walking and talking!

Congratulations. She and your family will stay in my prayers.
I think she is already blessed to have a dad like you and she will be fine.

I am glad that she is home, and now you can start on real worries.

I'm a little ahead of you here--I have already been negotiating with some of our finest knifemakers and forgers concerning damascus that will not react to human bodies. Once we get that out of the way, we will have a design competition for chastity belts.

There are a number of us with daughters on the forums. Ought to be enough that we can get a mid-tech design........

:D

Your daughter is beautiful and I am sure that she will be a blessing to you and your wife. Prayers sent.

Hey Buzz...

Well first off Congrats my friend...

I too stood in your shoes in NICU for nearly 4 months, with twins born at 25 weeks weighing 1.12oz and 1.3oz, and were given direction for making funeral arrangements for my daughter twice, because they didn't think she'd make it through the night...

That was 5 years ago, and they are doing well...

I know the fear and utter helplessness you must have been feeling...

You've got a beautiful daughter there, and our thoughts and prayers are with you brother..

ttyle

Eric...
