I am sorry to report that I just got word from Neil's daughter that he passed away on January 12, at his home in Australia. He had been struggling with illness for several years. A good friend, and a fine knifemaker. He will be missed.

Neil was one of the founding members of the Australian Knifemakers Guild, he will be sadly missed.
To all who Neil shared his knowledge with, spare a thought for him next time you turn the grinder on.
