Hi folks,

Thought you might like a couple of pics of my M6 that I recently stripped down.

Its the same M6 I recently purchased, the previous owner had sharpened it but took off a good section of the coating at the edge (a perfect candidate for stripping). :D

Nice job! That looks great. Let's turn this into a stripped Rats thread. The Thailand Rats will definitely have us beat. I haven't seen them post in a while, but they did amazing work. Likewise, Solstice did a really nice job with a RW once.

Not homegrown, but naked Rats nonetheless.

Hey... A PIG SNEAKED IN HERE! Oh, well... it's just a little one. It can't do much harm!

Is that a puppy on top???

Awesome job guys! I'm gonna do a search for threads on how to do that...I've seen em before, just gotta find 'em. I think I'll do that to my BR once the coating gets worn a bit more...

Did you end up with my baby, Ivan? I am fond of that girl... take good care of her.

Here's a couple of pics when she was younger.

Nope. I sold it to Tyrkon without a sheath. He sold it to someone in Hawaii. I bet that's when you got it.

So... Wauseon to Washington (Dunner) to Missouri (Paddling_Man) to Kalifornia (Tyrkon) to Hawaii to Washington (you.) That RW has seen more air miles than me the last 9 months. :D

That's Dunners old Ratweiler?

That one was a bit unusual. It has odd colored micarta, a rounded thumb ramp on the spine and alloy tube rivets. Here's a pic of it before I put a big scratch on the blade.. :o (front one on the right)

OMG, you had to put the naked rat in there! Poor bastard, someone kill it. Wonder what happens when you chop a rat with a rat?

Troy - You know, I never noticed that?? But look in the bottom photo and you can see the different type fasteners.

Now... if I could only get that SFNO from Dunner. Good luck, right? :o
