Where can I get a 10K ohm speed adjust potentiometer for a Leeson NEMA 4 controller?
I've had my Bader BIII for over 10 years. I had some goofy trouble with it today and isolated the trouble to the speed adjust probably going bad.
Is that a Radio Shack item?
My knife show in Little Rock is three weeks.
Not a good time for something like this to happen.
Should have ordered that new grinder from Brett two weeks ago!

I saw that, and don't know if that's what I need or the way I want to go.
Saw some on Amazon that more accurately depict what I think I need.

I figured there would be about 30 replies to this thread when I got up this morning with all kinds of suggestions where to get one.
I'll call Bader and see what they say.
Thanks, Salem.

I didn't see this last night.

Radio shack is pretty hit and miss, easier to buy a tv, cell phone, ebook reader and what not that it is to get a pot.
If the website shows your local store has stock, the advantage is you can eyeball the old and new one side by side.

I agree linear is what you want.

These are 10K
linear
single turn pots

If you want to change the options, they have thousands of choices, size, style, mounting, whatever.

Once you get down to the data page for that item, they have every spec and drawing possible to make sure you get what you wanted.

Anyone can set up an account, fast flatrate shipping.
I've always gotten stuff next day.

What wattage?
As long as it fits in the box, the bigger the better.

$10 item and $10 or less shipping

If Bader charges $60+ for it like some companies do = that's just silly.

Actually, I did get hold of Leeson and they want 50 bucks - which is absurd.
It's 10K 5W. And linear is the way to go.
All kinds of room in the box.
With those specs, I can find something.
Thanks.
