Nepali condos: some bilingual amusement (R-rated)

AhhhhHAHAHAHA....... some good funny there Beo!
I don't know how you do it though, linguistics give me sharp pains in my temporal region.

Interesting and informative and most amusing.

Makes me wish I had stuck to my Linguistics sub-major all those years ago back in college. Sadly I realised I didn't have the intellectual abilities required and went into Public Relations instead. :o :p

It reminds me of a story I heard, long ago:

At some international, public event in the Philippines, the event coordinators put up a huge sign over the entrance, saying "Welcome" in oodles of different languages, including Tagalog, the Filipinos' own language. They almost ready to open, when a native speaker pointed out that, due to a tiny spelling error, they had unknowingly changed the meaning of the Tagalog message from, "Please Be Welcome" to, "Please Be Circumcised."
