Another unusual pattern that I created as I learn and experiment with making pattern weld billets. This is a combination of 1095, 1084 and a band saw blade that might be 15N20 steel. The contrast between the 1094 and the 1084 is very subtle and doesn't really show in the photos but it is there. The saw blade was very thin and this is the narrow part of the pattern.
Created in my forge from the above steels
Heat treated in my shop to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind
Madagascar ebony handle
Overall length: 11 1/4 inches
Blade: 6 1/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
SOLD delivered within the US. My email address and email is gldrewknives@gmail.com
