Eliot is a very skilled knifemaker, but not quite so skilled as a photographer. I have a few Fixed Blades and a 2 blade Saddlehorn folder from Eliot and all are top-notch, easily comparable to knives costing twice as much. He gets the ergonomics and balance just right for the desired natural in-hand feel. His blades are are sharp, super capable cutters and so far in my experience, hold their edge even after some mild abuse.
I'm saying this not so much to support Eliot who is a really nice guy, but to share my experience so that other BF members who might be unfamiliar with Eliot's work can know that this Nessmuk knife will be greater 'in person' than in the pictures.
