Greetings everyone, You don’t see enough true Nessmuk’s around lately so here’s a handy Nessmuk skinner just finished up for you. Hope you like it!
80CRV2 with Paul Bos HT to 60,61- Dimensions - .13” x 8 3/8” OAL and 1 1/2” tall – 4 1/8” from tip to scales – Hand sanded to 1000 grit for a clean satin finish. Balances just behind the front pin.
The scales are Padauk with blue acrylic inserts with black and yellow G10 spacers. You’ll note in the picture the undersides aren’t perfectly aligned. It’s finished to 1200 grit with stainless and mosaic pins. Finished with multiple coats of Danish oil then buffed with carnauba wax. A great fit for the left or right hand. Sheath has a snug fit and a “back to my roots” totem carving.
