Nessmuk Trio - Will This Work?

Ive always wanted one of those warhammers, even though I have absolutely no use for one. They're just cool...

To the original poster: if I were in your shoes, I'd take the mora for general slicing and carving, the saw if you enjoy them for gatherin firewood, and a small hachet for general chopping. A Snow & Nealley, Wetterlings, or Gransfors Bruks would be tops in the hatchet realm. But like I said, if you already know you want a big knife, then gopher it!

NO! Dont' skin the dog CPL!:D

LOL, that dog would probably skin me!

Ha!

I would opt for something a tad different than the BK2,though a great knife but it lacks length if Becker is your blade of choice maybe get a BK9 to uses as a splitter ,chopper, hacker whacker and leave the stumpy BK2 at home and for finer cuttin the mora will do.
My son used a BK2 on our last outing and the BK2 split wood great but if the wood was over 3" in diameter he had trouble with running out of room to baton on the blade with out having to strike directly on the tip area...
but again if in your area that working trio works for you great !!!

Good point on it being a bit short. I have herd that it is a great splitter but thought it was a little bit short. I might look more into the BK7, I think that the BK9 is too big for my taste, if I am going to go that big I think I would just take a hatchet. Thanks for the photos!
