Nessmuk utility?

Hi,
Wondering what you all use your nessmuk's for? I just got one from Koster, and think it's cool and interesting, will likely keep it for it's uniqueness. Having a hard time figuring out where I might use it outside of the kitchen though... I won't be skinning stuff, and think my 3.75'' Breeden KAT might be all around more useful in the woods. So, inspire me! what to use the nessmuk for?

I drag mine around and use it just like any other knife. It works well for most tasks I need it for. I like the wide blade, it gives my fingers a place when I grab the blade to do any scraping or close detail work. The lack of point is sometimes a problem, but nothing major.

I use mine for everything in the woods. The only things I didn't like about the traditional pattern that I thought might limit its usefulness were the thin blade and obtuse point. So I got a 1/4" thick one with a stryker tip from Koster. Problem solved.

I use mine for hiking and camping. I've taken it for trips in the wilderness backpacking for multiple days before and never felt it fell short of anything I needed to do there.

So what is it about the nessmuk pattern that makes it appealing for outdoors use? Again, a sincere question. Thanks!
