Nessmuk

Dan Koster, for one. He has his own sub-forum here.

I understand Mr. Jerry Busse will be releasing a Nessmuk design ... or two ... soon.

Several other makers who post here also produce excellent Nessmuk designs.

Thank you OldPhysics

Stephen

Your work speaks for itself ... it looks great, and I have friends who are happy owners of your knives.:thumbup:

Oh ... and as for Dale Chud*.* -- please check GB&U before seeking him out. Always research before you deal.

I like Fiddleback for traditional style Nessmuks.

I like Koster for modern style Nessmuks.

Oof! Now I feel like a real idiot.

Of course Andy (Fiddleback) makes excellent Nessmuks. Sorry, Andy. :(

OldPhysics,

I feel like an idiot too, I just posted my Koster and than failed to mention him.. I agree that F-back appears to make the more traditional model, while Koster makes a steriod-enhanced version, can't wait to see the Busse!

Someone tried (used) Ariel Salaverria's San Mai nessmuk?

Are they as good as they look?

I just got a Koster Nessmuk, well its on its way to me anyhow! I can't wait!! Hopefully I will have it in time to bring to the CT gathering.

Here is the one I am getting. If you scroll down to the bottom, it sounds like one of his Nessy's will be available on Friday.

But, you got to be quick, they don't last long.

I bought a new (used) Fiddleback Nessie with reindeer antler scales from a guy over at one of the "other" forums.

It was a little smaller than I expected but it reeks of quality from the sheath to the handle design to the SCARY sharp blade. It is a perfect companion to my bushcraft knives and hatchets.
Chop with a hatchet, carve with bushcraft knife and slice/skin with a Nessie.

The way life was meant to be...........

;)
