Hey there everyone. I realize that I'm a new guy here but I really love the community. I guess I don't post a lot because I'm trying to still learn and get my feet wet. One thing I really love here is how generous everyone is. I don't have a lot of knives, but I do have three SAK's that I am not using since I've got my new bone handled Case Trapper. Here's what I would like to do. These past few weeks have been difficult for me as I've been thinking about my dad a lot. He died three years ago on the 1st of August. He meant a lot to me, and we had a lot of great times fishing, camping, and going on family vacations. I learned so much from him and just wish I would have had more time to spend with him as we got older. I would like for you to post a story or even just a short paragraph about a special time with you and your dad. You could even write about how much your dad means to you and why. On August 7th at 8PM I will stop accepting submissions. I will read through them all and pick my top 3. I have a Vic Classic, Vic Camper, and Vic Pocket Pal that I will give away to my three favorite posts. All I will need is your address and I will send you the SAK free. Thanks everyone.

I highlighted the bit that applies to you specifically. You did not enter, according to the rules (highlighted and made larger for you).

What you did was post what you thought was an entry, because you did not bother to read the OP's rules.

Your post was about and hour and 23 minutes past the "closed" deadline.

Then you crapped on him in his own thread, and started this thread because he did not respond to you on your time table?

I am shocked, to say the least, that he has not gone out of his way to make sure and notify you of your winnings, or at least had the courtesy to send you a personal email telling you the winners.................Just shocked, I say!

You started a thread in the Good Bad Ugly subforum???? Really?

Hopefully no SAK for you, or at least hoping your parents sent you to bed with no dinner or dessert tonight after this behavior.

You are likely an adult, so hopefully you will self impose a dinner and dessert ban on your self, or at least stand in the corner for a while, far away from the computer and your keyboard.
