Nevada Hiking Anyone

About two days after getting back from my long trip I got that itch again. You know what I am talking about, thinking of a place you want to be in so bad that you just can't wait to see those mountains or feel the desert under your feet. I decided to wait no more and got on a plane that day and flew to Nevada for some dayhiking and photos. I got a bunch of new gear to test out so I thought I would visit some friends and get some old Southwestern USA dirt time.

Anyone in the Nevada area want to hike for a day? I will be here for a few more days. Let me know if you want to hit the desert. I am in the area just outside of Vegas and was hiking in the Red Rock area yesterday. Feel free to email me or call. Reuben 626-641-9946

Spark! Ready to brew a quick cuppa and think about the next leg! Or even,if closer to dark, ready to watch that breathtakingly beautiful brief sunset and a fire to welcome the night. Really excellent pics,by the way. Really takes me there. Thanks for sharing.

Man Rueben. It must be nice to pick up and leave when ever you like. That said, I wouldn't trade my family for any of that. But still, it must be nice....

I have that thought all the time. "Man, that must be nice..." Then, I look over at my wife sleeping, and I think about the child we are about to bring into the world... and, I wouldnt trade it for anything.

Didnt mean to get sappy, but Tony's words really hit home for me when I read them.

I agree with that 100% even though I know nothing about it...I still have time. Thanks for sharing, both of you;).

I couple of years ago, I driving past a golf course and my (then 6 year old) daughter said , "Look, Dad used to golf, but now he just takes care of kids". Funny, but true. It is worth it, though. The best part is, now they are old enough to do some of the fun stuff with me. Beautiful pictures. Thanks for posting them.
