Sunday.
Bored.
Let's see the stuff you never or hardly carry.

from top to bottom:
Tsarap-carry only once in a while mainly because I got so many other stuff I like to carry more. I changed the scales to cocobolo.
BM Emissary-last of my old collection. I never sold it because the spring is broken and I sort of like it that way.
Kershaw Black Horse-I got it because it was the first 'nice' knife I got, memories don't you know
Guardian OTF-illegal to have here funky blade because I started to take off the stonewash. Great letter opener!
Off Grid something or other-I like wharncliffes, also changed the scales to bog oak but never put the clip back on

All my SAKs-mainly because I daily carry a Swisstool, they are in my truck and tackle bags though
2020 BF knife
all my Opinels are usually parked somewhere where they are needed

$12 Etsy knife-being a knife snob I wouldn't be caught dead carrying it
Are you kidding me? - obvious reasons though I do have a matching small one I don't carry either though that may change as I ordered me some Kailash goodness.
Another Etsy special-too stupid looking but actually kinda nice
Dogpaw custom-too heavy
O'Neill custom-only once in a while when I'm in a mood...
Etsy special-don't know why I don't carry this one...maybe because it was like the first one, kinda cheap

There are some other larger blades that are only good for camping or I just leave in the truck
The Spydercos that I only use for fishing: Aqua Salt, Jump Master and Fish Hunter
Also one or two Helles and Jantz knives I put handles on

Actually not as many as I thought! I guess a lot of my knives eventually make it into the rotation.

Funny thread ! :)

I'm not that bored (although I am lazy) . Most of my collection / accumulation in rarely carried . I don't rotate .

So I'd have to take LOTS of pics . :p

Not my pic, but this is the only knife I have that has never been carried.
The reasons:
1) No good way to carry other than throwing in the bottom of a pocket.
2)It's too small.
3) It could go on keys but I have better key knives.
4) It's made in China.
5) polished stainless steel that scratches super easy.
6) It doesn't spark joy over any other knives.

But it's so cute!
(I do give my ManBug some pocket-time...)

"That's NOT a knife ...! " ;)

The ones that aren't likely going to get used and/or carried are a couple engraved commemorative knives (a Grohmann and a Buck), the CRKT Ritual, and the Kershaw Strata XL.

I"m another with many more knives than I have time to carry; and photographing all of them would be a chore. Tends to happen when you accumulate knives for over 60 years.
Pretty much all my knives HAVE been carried. But, once I carry them and get a feel from their pluses and minuses, I've moved on to other knives and they now serve as reference points when I'm looking for another knife to try.

I have some knives for collection only. Here's a few

Since I usually have only 5 or 6 knives in a current rotation at one time, most of my collection of more than 100 knives is usually stored. But I would be happy to carry most of them. However my current knife fascination keeps changing.. Not as frequently as it used to.
