Come on down to Tx. Great beaches with dogs, plenty of places to camp and hike.

Hell, you can even camp on the beach. You and your wife will love it.:D
 
i hate the beach and until recently dug my heels in about tent camping also but given the choice of the 2 i'd rather go camping. I'm just not up for sitting somewhere where sand is going to blow in my food and drinks. and making a pearl is not on my list of things to do before i die.
