Never really got the Sinkevich hype ...

I got bit by the ZT/Sinkevich bug, hard not to be. These two have the best actions of any production knives I've yet tried.

Good day! I do not prefer to buy copies. Originals do not seem to be available. I ordered one to look at the construction details. Most impressive.
I perceive that Dimitry is not trying to make this design for public consumption. I do not know if the copy is illegal. It is hard to get to the bottom of the story when Russian and Chinese are not my 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd languages.
I have plenty of original custom knives that were offered to the public. This model was not.

I thought it was a fixed blade too. Admittedly, I'm not a Persian style blade fan but it is a good looking knife.

I do like several of his ZTs designs (456 & 850).
 
I understand where you guys are coming from. I am not trying to beat the system. I am trying to get a job done. Namely hook myself up with a knife as pictured above. Dimitry Sinkevich is not helping. If I determine that these knives (I have 2) are unauthorized copies, and I can locate Dimitry, I will offer him 100% of my purchase prices as a royalty or destroy the knives, his option. Ideally he would license the design to get more in the pipe.
