Congrats on the beautiful knife. I had a Snakewood Raindrop Mnandi and could just not bring myself to carry it - glad to see you are carrying yours!
 
Well, my Ebony now has a companion. I'd been dreaming of a Mammoth Bark, then this one with the toasted-marshmallow coloring came along. Since CRK discontinued offering any ivory, I decided to get this one as soon as I saw it.

Now my wish list is down to two.

I said the same thing. Then a few weeks ago I decided to see what all the fuss was about so I bought a plain small 21, pretty much as cheap as it gets. It didn't overly impress me so I bought many variants to experiment and ended up with this as well as a Classic, Regular, and 21 large Insingo inbound:

I plan on doing a review to summarize my thoughts but I will say that overall I like them and most will stay in my collection.
 
Wow. I'm usually not a huge fan of mammoth bark, but that one is gorgeous. Congrats!

Not sure what remains on your wish list, but you really owe it to yourself to try a large 21 (or small Insingo with micarta!). The pinnacle of quality, IMO.

My solution: I just carry both; Ebony gets clipped to my pocket, Ivory rides in the leather pouch IN my pocket...they both see regular use.

Hey LW,
For some reason, your "sickness" comment made me think of the Saturday Night Live skit "More Cowbell" with Will Ferrell and Christopher Walken, when Walken says "I've got a fever--and the only prescription, is more Cowbell". The mental image of you substituting "another CRK" for "more Cowbell" made me chuckle.

First time post and basically in the same boat you were in. About a week ago I decided I needed to get a new knife. Nothing wrong with my trusty Mini Grip or Chaparral but wanted something new. Never heard of CRK but Sebenza continuously popped up everywhere I looked. Well now I have a small 21 on the way... I should probably get an Inkosi and Green Beret too... damn you knife forums!

LOL... nice collection. I really had to talk myself out of getting something other than the plain jane. My initial thought went something like this, "Well, I'm dropping $350 might as well just spend $500 for something really nice... ooh look there is really cool one for $650, I like that!". At least these are easier to hide from the wife than guns!
 
Have never even seen a Mnandi and not sure I would ever buy one but I certainly love my Sebenzas and Kosi’s. Maybe someday I will try one, but congrats on yours.

Maybe someday I will get to see one in the flesh, but it is doubtful since no one carries them in my state and that is a knife I would have to hold before I bought.
