Never Summer Native

I'm only a volunteer, so I didn't think that counted back when I had the funds to order one. Now I don't have the funds and I can order one

W-EMT didn't get me in on the original release because I'm not attached to a station. You as an active volunteer are more a firefighter than I am. Big thanks to all first responders: fire, medics, police and SAR (my personal favorite).

What do you mean? "Only a volunteer". I am a retired firefighter of 35 years, and I worked with many volunteer firefighters over the years. Volunteer's blood is the same color as a career's blood. Their tears are the same. The job they (YOU) do for your fellow man is the same. I am proud of all firefighters, career and volunteer. Thank you for your service. I hope and pray that you have a long and safe career.
Thank you for the kind words. I signed up as a junior the day i turned 16 and I'm 19 now. Haven't been going too long but I enjoy and appreciate what it allows me to do for my community. Your words mean a lot. Thank you

This Native5 LC200N DLC ComboEdge Lightweight Red FRN is very nice! Here's a comparison picture with the KnifeCenter Brown and 2015 Forum Maroon.

Mine arrived Friday. Blade has a lot going on and I am trying to get over the combo edge to enjoy the performance of the lc200n steel. The original native is one of my favorite knives and no native 5 has felt as good to me yet. I see that post above mine and the brown xhp is the one I'd grab first. If only it came in full serrated.
