Nevermind Blade, nevermind a Bladeganza, nevermind a limited company store run...

If it makes anyone feel any better, going to Blade ( as I had the opportunity to do this year) was no guarantee that you would be getting your 'hooves' on anything INFI. The trough experience around the Busse booth was truly an "every Hog for himself " situation. There were definitely more Hogs at the trough than feed. Jerry tossed tickets, coupons, (or whatever they were) into the 'herd' and the lucky few that snagged one could purchase the offering at hand. There were some SwampRat and Scrapyard pieces available, as well as a few smaller Busses', but, otherwise, it was'nt exactly like going to 'store'. A great experience overall. An enormous gathering of cutlery giants under one roof. By the way, had a chance to meet and talk to Ann and Chris Reeves for a few minutes. They are really some nice folks, genuine to the core. Ethan Becker was also very congenial and easy to talk with. But Dan Busse (Jerrys' brother) was a hoot to talk with. He easily admitted that the previous nights' Bourbon hampered his efforts to make it to the show Saturday morning. Again, though, a good time.

Agreed. I am totally into it. I want an asymmetrical grind so bad! $257.00:thumbup:

I hope it is a store offering .... it is certainly deserving .... and tickets and vouchers or not .... there would have been Infi available at first .... looking at what is on the exchange there are too many matching pieces for one person to snag by way of vouchers .... my guess is that the sellers were VIP tickets and there VERY early. That is why it get's called the trough .... all you can eat if you have the cash .... but for those hoping for any left in a Ganza I reckon they will have to make some more .... I doubt there will be many left over. I believe though that they would make more for the Ganza .... there is a tradition of letting everyone get a chance

I smell a ganzaa comin'. :) But as others have suggested, I'd prefer it if the B11 replaced the BWM as the large knife offering in Jerry's new "3-way" business plan . . . whenever that finally kicks off.

No shit.

Some of the KC BOSS Jacks were sporting a ~50% mark-up. Thank goodness for proxies; when I finally make it to a show I'll return the favor for sure.

+1 I am so appreciative of my proxy who scored me a tanker B11. I really hope to get out to blade one of these years  and I know that I will do my best to pass on the kindness showed to me. So by the way, thank you!

You're exactly right, product DID hit the table on different days and times. You just had to be in the right place at the right time. But the whole Blade experience was worth every minute of my three hour drive up to Atlanta.

Oh yeah...bring these to the store!!! I would probably pick up another depending on how much I like it when I get it. I think that this blade might be an all time best seller and I'd like to see every hog get a crack at it.

Hopefully there will be a chance for some to buy some without a 100 markup 12 hours later.

I scored through proxy, but until I get my chubby mitts on some ResC Basic 11 goodness...........................................

Have to say the B11 surprised me. Did not have plans to keep one if I got it, but after holding it in my hand I have decided it is a keeper. It just feels like it wants to chop when you hold it. Could only be at Blade on Friday so did not get the whole experience, but what I had was awesome. Did drag myself back after work on Saturday for the induction dinner. Met lots of great people, and put faces to a lot of names. If you get a chance to go do it. But be warned- if you go you will definetly be back.
