Buddy, you made an offer, and I replied via email that I would sell it to you and to just email me to confirm your shipping address. I didn't receive an email and assumed you did not want it, so I sold it to the next guy. I was selling to give me a little extra cash while on vacation. So for the last day I've had my cell phone in airplane mode on a cruise ship until I got to the Bahamas to ensure I wouldn't go over on my data. As soon as I got here I turned my connection back on, received your email, promptly responded, and issued a full refund via PayPal. In retrospect I should have emailed you to confirm you did not want it, and in any other situation I would, however I was very busy in the day leading up to my trip and did not. The fact that I posted in full view of the forums that I sold it and who I sold it to hopefully demonstrates that I was not trying to double dip and believed I was making an honest decision. I apologize for the miscommunication, I've never had negative feedback and I'd like to keep it that way. No hard feelings, I would probably feel the same as you and responded similarly. You should have your full refund by now and if you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to email me back and I hope we can still do business in the future my friend.

Sincerely,

Kenneth Kidwell

For the record and your own edification, in the future it's always a good idea to give any transaction a little time before you start throwing people under the bus. You end up making yourself look like a jerk. Also, we don't delete threads, you started it so now you have to deal with the consequences.

You can at least edit the title (hit "advanced mode" when you edit your post) and remove Kennykid's name from the thread title.

The situation is resolved and a refund was issued promptly. All I can say is that I had no idea that he didn't have email access. He said he wanted money for a trip, I did not know when or where this trip was to and it wasn't any of my business anyway. I did wait a few days figuring he got an email from Paypal saying funds on the way and that I had a package coming. I also did not want to send multiple emails saying "Where is it, where is it." All it would've taken was one email from either of us to straighten this out in retrospect. When I saw that the knife was sold it seemed like a slap in the face and yet another battle to get my funds back. Someone put this feedback section seems to be here for a reason and while I would hope to deal with responsible people you never know and you just have to trust them I guess. I have had lengthy battles with this before so I thought I would just be pro-active and try to protect myself. Hopefully people can look at this and see that it was a minor misunderstanding and a small lack of communication. I will admit to being a bit grouchy first thing this morning when I saw all of this but it is my hard earned money that I am spending. There isn't anything I can do if people want to think I am a jerk for how I responded and I'll deal with the consequences. I will try to be more patient in the future and I apologize if I tarnished Kenny's reputation in any way.

It's all good, you were very understanding and quick to rectify after I did. Simple miscommunication, water under the bridge.
