Another thing that is going to blow your mind is that the pre-orders really started months ago as well.;)

where at and how much

You'll be hard pressed to find sites with official pre-order lists, but trust me there are places where "unofficial" lists are already in place.

That's all I'm going to say here for fear of concrete shoes and Colombian neckties. :p:D

Ill be honest, Everyone raves about elemax so much id rather more versions of the 550 with better steels, 0551's are rare these days and s35v is the only thing im on the fence about with that knife. Seems perfect for edc but a blade of that price i feel should have the elemax standard.

Can you please clarify this post a little? Are you saying that the 0560CBCF has Elmax? As, it doesn't. Or are you just saying you want more versions of the 0550 with different steel?

No, I am just saying that I believe the Elmax in the 0560 is already an amazing steal so what is the point of making a composite blade on it, yes it is cool but you have a 2xx dollar 0550 using s35v honestly that steel is the reason I ordered an 0350 instead of an 0550 I have researched it as much as I can and the various pros and cons, for my uses I would rather they made the 0550 with s30v than s35v. Sorry for wandering off topic and the composite 0560 will certainly be a cool knife don't get me wrong but I would much rather see a the 0550 have a better steal for it's price before seeing this.

Just going on record saying I did search for this before I posted:) I should have known better!

If you have to ask this, then you're clearly in the wrong place. :)

Yes there is at least one place, I got on the "on-the-down-low" list pretty quick.

While I understand Kershaw doesn't control their dealers practices, the secret preorder posts doesn't lend much support to position Kershaw representatives have indicated that everyone has equal opportunity to acquire these limited edition knives.

Have the money and desire to purchase one of these knives, just don't have the contacts to secure a guarantee on a preorder. Gonna remain optimistic regardless.

My self proclaimed "steel snob" makes this knife a grail for sure!

Your join date is earlier than mine and even I somehow know the "secret" pre-order go to person. It's more of an open secret than an actual secret. If you've been around here regularly then you just know who to ask and who to go to. It's common knowledge here, ask around you might not be to late. That's all I'll say.

But your in luck, I'm a steel snob as well, And, I've asked around and know for a fact that some won't be taking pre-orders. SO...I hope you can type fast and place your order without mistakes because it'll be a free-for-all in some locations.

Exactly. It only took a small amount of community engagement for me to know who to go to, as well as the other less direct channels for hopping on a list for upcoming products. I wouldn't consider either dealer a "contact" really, certainly not in the sense that there are under the table dealings to keep new products from everyone else.

Of course that pre-order guarantee's, well nothing. :)

...and I thought the CFCB 0560 was 110V?

This thread is confusing.
