Thomas, the preorder will guarantee frustration and possible rage for some. We've seen that before. As George Santayana once said: those that do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it. BTW, I wonder where I am on the list.

While I understand Kershaw doesn't control their dealers practices, the secret preorder posts doesn't lend much support to position Kershaw representatives have indicated that everyone has equal opportunity to acquire these limited edition knives.

Have the money and desire to purchase one of these knives, just don't have the contacts to secure a guarantee on a preorder. Gonna remain optimistic regardless.

My self proclaimed "steel snob" makes this knife a grail for sure!

It's a cool knife, but I prefer the look of the braze patterns on the composite 0350's, like the elmax and ZDP versions.
