Yeah, I don't know if its good example due to its extreme popularity but I've seen the blue, orange, and carbon fiber Spyderco PM2 sprint runs sell for twice and in several cases 3 times as much as they originally sold for..if this one went for twice what it originally cost that would be $680 to $700..it may never get that high in value but still..OuCh!

OK, so I managed to get lucky I think.
I was away from my desk and happened to check my email really quickly and saw the notification email. So, I jumped on the site and threw one in my cart. Then I started filling out the billing and shipping info. Well somehow in the process of doing that my browser crashed and I had to leave my desk to deal with something. I got back about 15 minutes later, pulled up BHQ and it was still in my cart.............filled out the info, paid with the card, and completed the order. I haven't received an email saying I didn't get one so I think that I might just have done it.
Now, onto the 0600............I don't have a pre-order. I do know that there is one site that is still doing full-price pre-orders, but the guy fro that site won't tell me how many pre-orders they have or how many 0600's that they are tentatively anticipating to get. HE just keeps saying, go ahead and do it and maybe you'll get one............ya just never know. Well, I don't want to tie up $400 bucks for a couple months for an "I don't know" Anyone know where there might be a sure bet to get an 0600? I would guess BladeHQ is going to be sending out a notification email when those come in, as well.
Let me say, though, for the guys who may have had an issue getting one of these for one reason or another........I had a really good experience with a site with a short name and Art as the second word. I'm not here to promote them and I'm not affiliated with them in any way. Just telling my experience. I get notification emails from them for all ZT products. Well, I get the email about the 0777 being available. So, I freak out and order one as fast as I can. Well, it turns out that I put in the wrong credit card ( wife had the correct card, they look exactly the same ). So, about 10 minutes after I ordered, I get my confirmation email saying that I made an order, but then about half an hour later I get another email saying that my order did not go through and that Non-Confirmed orders are not held and that I would simply have to try to re-order. Well, they were LONG sold out by then. I sent them an email saying that I had screwed up with the card, but I figured it didn't do any good because by then there was no doubt that they were all gone.
Well, about 3 days later I missed a call from a random area code I wasn't familiar with. Then I get another call a couple of days later from the same area code and I look it up and its from Arkansas. They left a voicemail, but I was at work and couldn't answer or listen to it. So that night after work, I listen to it and its the guy from the website saying "Hey there, we've got your 0777 held, waiting for you. Give us a call back if you still want it. If not, we're going to put it back up for sale tomorrow" That was a damn fine thing to do. Yeah, I ended up paying a little more than some of the folks who pre-ordered or who bought from a couple other sites, BUT I didn't end up paying the $900+ that a couple went for on the secondary market.
Anyway, just wanted to say that there's some stand up guys over there.
Well, congrats to all of those that snagged one of these damn fine knives. Best of luck to those who are wanting one, but didn't get one today. I hope people don't go wild with the secondary market pricing. If for someone reason I decided to sell mine, it will be at a reasonable price.

The CBCF is easily as nice as my 777! The 777 has a story behind it. But the CBCF retails $200 less. It's a toss up for me!

I am currently working through my preorder list and I am not surprised by the number of people passing. Although I must say they are making a big mistake, this knife is pretty amazing, just another example of a great knife made by a great company.

I was one of those that passed this up on Dave's list. Whoever got mine, your welcome . Great looking knife, but to me, it wasn't worth the price. I am waiting on the S110v Native 5. That and I would rather spend the cash on the 0600 and the 0888, I am on both of those lists too

I want to say 60 to 62 rc. I thought I read when they do composite blades, they try to match steels with similar heat treatment rc's. I may be wrong though; hopefully someone who knows for sure will chime in.
