I have a spare VFD that is brand new in the box. Still sealed in the baggie

Regal-Beloit T2115
Rated for up to a 1.5hp motor

Handles 1 or 3 phase input with 3 phase output

Hookup for EPM module and control strip for external controls.

Looks like a direct competitor to the Teco FM50 I have on my KMG. I have another one of these for a project I have not started yet so I don't have personal experience with this model yet.

Asking ***SOLD*** shipped

will that vfd work on the beumont 1hp motor 1725rpm so that i can get a disc grinder that is reversible?? can someone answer that.--marekz

I don't believe the Beaumont motors are 3 phase, so it would not work. This drive only does 3 phase output.

IMO, 3 phase motors are so cheap you could just save the Beaumont for another project.

I'll post a link to some cheap 3 phase motors in a minute.

Ebay is a good source for motors but shipping is usually high.

You can also check local equipment surplus companies, public auctions or call almost and manufacturer in your area, ask for the maintenance shop and ask them if they have any take-off's spares they'd be willing to sell you. You may just get one free.

I paid $16 for a brand new 3hp Baldor that was a take-off, got it at an auction.

HGR is a company local to me and it's like Toys R Us, luckily it's close enough to me to go on occasion. They have cheap shipping and will sell over the phone. Here's some links.. just need to make sure it's an AC motor.

1 HP Reliance $30

1.5 hp Baldor, $30

3/4 hp Dayton, $20

1 hp Dayton, $30

The last motor listed, 1HP Daton is a single phase motor and will not work with the VFD.

You're right, they have a million motors and I was in a hurry. Rare that they even have a single phase..:foot:

Is it sold yet? I use the exact same unit on one tool, and am setting up another. Continuity of equipment would be nice.
