New 110 for prospective Buck customer

thats a nice accent touch with the strands copper woven in the material to go with the bolsters....good job!

I wouldn't mind it if that mirror polish blade was ATS-34 and of course BG-42 would be very nice considering it's being used on the club 301. Sounds like we might find out this weekend

I was going to guess Lightning Strike, no really, I was..

Anyway, the knife looks great. A very exciting project indeed.

The June BCCI Newsletter has the details for these (2) club knives, page 5.

There are two versions.

1. Satin blade of S35VN in flat grind.

2. 420HC blade mirrored blade with gold etch.

Outstanding.

Sounds and looks like the knife offerings will have the BCCI / Buck tang stamp unlike the 50th Anniversary tang stamp hengem shows in his pictures. I actually like the one with the 50th Anniversary tang stamp myself.

I want the one hemgem has. Maybe a prototype??

That particular tang stamp is really a good one. Nice and deep, crisp and readable. Serious yet artistic. A tad crowded. 2014 centric. Not generic like the custom, circular, stamp.

Then you or someone needs to take it off the "sticky blade forum link" that's where I got it...but duly noted.

What a beautiful folder.

Your info is from 2002 Mule. There is a ton of old stuff on the internet that no longer applies. I cannot edit your post and I cannot edit the post that you linked to with old info. The club maintains its own site so a google search using key words "Buck Collector Club" gives you the front door. Here is a link to the BCCI site: http://www.buckcollectorsclub.org/Login.aspx Once on the club site simply click the "Become A Member Today..." link and you get the BCCI membership sign up form in pdf format.

thanks Oregon I was given the official B.C.C.I. site link by a member a month ago. I just grabbed the quickest link that's on the [BUCK] Manafacturing page on the BLADE FORUM. removing the stickys, Yes I remember now that those sticky notes are hard to remove? I think I heard it from 300.... about the BUCK 768? post. Thanks for steering me in the right direction to the homepage for B.C.C.I. :)

The knife in this picture has a gold hue to it due to the lighting. I think it looks good with that goldish hue. Too bad they do not make it with their gold coated blade. That would look extremely rich in color.

Sorry my question has derailed the thread a bit. One more indulgence if I may, what is the E-Membership?

The club prints send out a news letter 4 times a year. The e-membership is that the news letter is emailed and saves the club the printing & shipping costs.
