New 110 without the 50 mile drive!

Your lucky to see a 110 in my Wally's...

ITE, Yeah it is rare here too. That's the first place I checked when
I went shopping for my first one. That's why I was so surprised on
Friday to see them now in the display case. What I found even more
surprising was that my local BP....doesn't even stock them!!!! Guy's
there didn't even know what a Buck 110 was??? They kept asking me
what the name was, and that "it must go by some other name." I told
them it was pretty strange with the huge BUCK inventory they had that
they didn't stock the 110. They told them it was Corporate that shipped
them knives and they just stocked what they were sent. I can't imagine
"Corporate", being so irresponsible enough not to send them the knife that
that made BUCK famous??

Went to see Wally in belle vernon Pa today-normally go to West mifflin. I was really hopen to see some boxes but all there was were clamshells:grumpy:
One cool thing about the clamshells is you can see each knife then pick the one with the handles you like best.Yep I too like the box:)

That's a definitely a plus. I didn't even ask the counter guy, but he took
them both out of the box and let me take my pick of the one I wanted.
Probably wouldn't have happened if they were busier, or if they had many
more then the 2 they had.

Hi SonnyD,

FYI

The 110's name is the "Folding Hunter" and if you look at the BP on-line catalog they don't use the model numbers, just the model names.

I didn't realize that the 110 was the only one called the folding hunter,
my mistake on that one.:foot:

Hay SonnyD,

No foot in the mouth my friend. I don't know the model name of many of the Buck knives. Example, I know what a 703 looks like but, if you call it a Colt, I would have to look it up. After we hang out here and read many threads, we just can't help learning from all the info.
