New 2012 Benchmade Models ***More models added bottom of Page 2***

The knew Adama folder is the first folding blade Benchmade knife that I REALLY want. The a Grip or Ritter Grip would be nice, and I've drooled over a CSK for years, but...

As for D2, I'd take more of it. It can be a pain to sharpen but at least the high carbon side is seeing some meager representation in the quality mainstream locking folder world.

Nothing in that second bunch looks appealing to me. I feel like BM's strong point is taking "average" looking knife designs and making really really nice versions of them. I don't like some of the "weirder" designs they have been coming out with. Just doesn't seem like them, more like something CRKT would do

Looks like they're bringing the rolling lock back on one of the HKs. Either that or they put the Axis in upside down

I like the looks of the 810, the backlock Bone Collector, fancied up 746, and of course the 275/375.

I wonder if they are going to put a lanyard hole on the 810?

Yeah that 746 SHOT Show Special Edition is great!

Too bad it will be in such a small amount of them made.

I bet it will cost some serious $$$!

does anyone else find that onslaught clip to be hideous??? it was a deal breaker for the original versions too :barf:

really just wish they'd offer a knife works exclusive large onslaught in m390 with a different clip and cf handles

then again lets just be honest. they should really just offer all of their knives in m390. the stuff is amazing, and while bm's ht isn't ideal; its still quite phenomenal. i could only imagine what that onslaught profile would slice like being as thin as it is... that thin with the high grind in m390... get her re treated and omg

I think this design is a winner! Still not big on the skull/deer rack logo thingy on the Bone Collector series though... kinda cheesy.

ETA: If they ever make a B-movie horror flick called "Dawn of the Deer" (ala "Black Sheep" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=829ZvtRKzAU) the Bone Collector logo should grace the cover.

Im quite surprised how tasteless or plain everything seems with 2012. I guess I can count out benchmade from this years buy list.

810 looks like a champ. Like a Rift with longer blade, better steel and what appears to be a better handle. 275 also looks to be a winner as does the 375. I also like the 15050-2, but agree the logo is a killer. Still, nice to have a traditional style knife with a pocket-clip; not too many of them around it seems.

Not terribly impressed. The 482 is very nice looking though. May have to pick one of those up.

Any idea when the 482 will hit the stores? I notice a couple of them have them listed as coming.

It is a nice looking knife altho a bit on the small side.

I am REALLY liking this design. been looking for a nice wood handled lockback with a pocket clip, as well as having a modern touch to the design. Think this might be it for me. Hope it isn't too pricey.

Already have the 275 combo blade with the black LE, and plain edge tan coming, and am VERY impressed with this knife!

The 810 Contego looks like it will be a nice knife, especially with the ~4" blade. I also want to get a BM 62 since it will have stainless handles, finally giving it some weight to feel solid.

If these three BM's are all I end up with this year, I'll be happy. But I'm sure there will be something else in the offing before the year is done!

I just got the Bonecollecter 15000 in D2. It's a handy little blade but after a slight touch up on Spyderco sharpining system, that little guy is crazy sharp. I plan on putting in some time with my strop this weekend and see what happens. I highly recommend this knife. If for nothing else but taking to a restaurant and using it as a steak knife. It should draw some looks as you produce your own knife to cut up the beef with.
