I think it's comfortable in both but could be a little better for the left, but REALLY can be for either.

After looking at it and holding it in each hand, I think it will go either way. Is comfortable in the left and right. Here is a shot of the back of the handle. As you can see it is pretty straight.

This showed up today---extremely cool.

Funny thing is, I've been looking at these patterns from Dan for awhile, and they have an elegance to them that could be mistaken for being delicate. Umm, they're not. :)

Wonderful balance, and very capable of being used with finesse, but this is still a serious working tool, you can feel it as soon as you pick it up.

Glad I finally snagged one.

I've been a long time admirer of Dan's blades and style. They have a certain "old world" elegance to them. He lets the curves and detail work speak louder than "bling". There's a reason an elegant black gown or tuxedo is elegant no matter the decade, I think Dan's work is the cutlery equivalent.

Well said, Will.

Dan, you have a really cool website. I was reading about how you make your knives and the grinder that you built.

Thanks for those elegant comments. I have been paid a few compliments in the past but none put this way and it means a lot coming from both of you. Again, thanks.
