At one point I had, um, 4 Kel-Tec products. KT sometimes has quality issues (which they will remedy), but they have had a history of making some very innovative firearms at affordable prices.
In '99, KT showed the P-32. I loved this light, flat little pistol. It was lighter and thinner than the NAA, Beretta, and Autauga competitors, but allowed a better grip. It also had a fairly nice trigger pull- and cost significantly less than the competitors.
When the Kel-Tec P-3AT .380 arrived a few years later, it also drew lots of buyers. Barely larger than the P-32 (fits most P-32 holsters), many shooters liked the idea of carrying the more potent .380 in a pocket-sized package.
Well, it looks like KT has done it again. On the 9th, KT unveiled their new 9mm at the SHOT show. It will be the lightest and flattest 9x19mm ever made.
