  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

New 9mm goodness

Heh....if anyone really thinks that thing kicks bad, I'd be glad to let 'em put a few cylinders of full power .357 Mags through my Smith 340 revolver (unobtainium J- frame) I thought I was a tough man until I tried firing a couple cylinders of full power .357s through that.

My hand had a raw spot by the 12 round from the rubber grip. I'm a cringing, cowering sissy of a man.:(

RWS, don't sell your self short. You have hit on a truly fine, day in and day out, carry weapon. I like the 340 so much I bought two of them. Practice with wadcutter (clean carefully later), followed by two cylinderfulls of .38 +P, and finish with one or two cylinders of .357 Mag. Repeat a couple times a month for 4 - 6 months and you will find yourself controlling it effortlessly. I carry a Wilson Professional .45 everyday, but would go anywhere comfortably with the 340.
