Hallo, everybody!!!

My little Busse collection yust get a new member - an Active Duty.
And - interesting - I think I'm the only one in my country (Slovenia), who owns Busse knives. Can anyone else say the same for himself???

Here is a short history of yesterday (and in short of some moments before yesterday):

some day in june: I've ordered an AD at Busse Deutchland. A knife with black blade and green linen scales.
30.10.2004 I get a message from Busse Deutchland: my AD is on the way

3.11.2004 I send a money order.

4.11.2004
8.30 Postman brought a box from Busse Deutchland. I didn't knew that – I was at work
15.40 I came home and find a BUSSE knife!!! Oh, what a ravishment, fascination!!!
15.50 the blade was painted with some chemical stuff that will later remove coating
16.10 the lunch was eaten
16.15 coating was removed
16.35 the blade was polished (not too much, yust so that it get a decent shine)
16.50 leather was chosen and planes for the sheath were drawn
16.55 my wife came into a garage (where my workshop iz placed instead of a car). I had a hard work to convince her, that it is very inappropriate, unsuitable and inconvenient to ask how much a knives costs; ladys and gentlemans of good manner never do this. Then she changed the subject and started talking of new carpet for living-room and of some diamonds and … I didn't understand her – carpet and diamonds doesn't have anything common with knives…
17.05 Wife finnaly gone
17.06 Sheath production begun
18.20 I sticked myself into a finger with a needle
18.25 The bleeding was stopped
20.05 My wife came again. She looked to what I was doing and than she said: »Bolj star, bolj nor«. It means: Older you are, more crazy you are. Such a support!
20.30 A sheat was made
20.31 AD was pushed into it

5.11.2004 08.30 Pictures of a knife and a sheath were taken

Is there anyone who will be so kind and post the pictures on the Forum for me? Pleeeeeease, ….. thankyouuuuuuuuuu.

Have a nice day!!!

LMAO, so I see women in Slovenia are no different than the ones in the USA.

By the way - do you know what is real speed???
When your watch fell from the top of a skyscraper and you still manage to catch it before it crash to the pavement  . I did that last year. But it was not really so difficult - my watch was late.

Very nice work, and great story.

Welcome to our family.

I hope you can spread the word and make more "hogs" in Slovenia!!!

Thank you for sharing!

It's a gelatinous - liquid stuff called LAVA. It is used for removing old paint. You yust carry a thick layer of Lava on the painted object with a brush and then wait 5 - 10 minutes. Old colour start to blister and become removable. It works at Busse blade coating too. After cca 15 minutes I could remove the whole coating in one piece. Iz is recomended to wear gloves and safety goggles  .
