I had some time on my hand so I decided to post some pics of recent additions, and some older favorites.
In general, I am a collector because I do not get that many occasions to use a knife. I EDC a Spyderco Pingo; it's cute, non-threatening, and I really love it. Otherwise, having been trained as an Industrial Designer (but working in IT) I really am sensitive to the esthetic value of objects in general, and knives in particular.
I really, really love carbon fiber handles!
First, a Maserin 392/CN that is super lightweight, has a great design, and a great D2 blade (I have two NIB and will try to trade one - if I can find how to post in the Trade section!). I love this knife because it oozes Italian design and minimalism. And those carbon fiber scales are awesome! (apologies to Maserin for the first pic)

Then, a recent Spyderco addition to my collection, the Nilakka Folding Puukko, which I got on Massdrop. Very interesting knife, with sharp and pointy blade S30V, minimalist and angular despite a soft curve in the design. Heavy, with quality G10 handles that look like plastic wood but have a very premium, high end feel. I love it, but it would be too heavy in a pant's pockets! (apologies to Massdrop for the first pic)

I also recently got this Spyderco Friction Folder. I find it deploys too easily (it's like the blade is on silky butter! Not sure if the pivot is not tight enough, I don't have the tool to tighten it), and there is no lock (of course). However the fit and finish are incredible! The VG10 blade, even if from a more common steel, just oozes quality and premium workmanship. Not sure if the super buttery smooth action is warranted on a lock-less knife (I honestly expected more friction from a knife called 'friction folder'!), but its design immediately made it one of my favorites! You have to hold the tang of the blade to hold it steady. Beautiful design that took me by surprise and delighted me! (apologies to Knife Center for the first pic)

Then an Ontario Rat 1 limited edition, with - guess what - carbon fiber handles. I love the quality, fit and finish of the handles, and the stonewashed steel of the D2 blade, but the overall design left me cold. I can't pinpoint why (perhaps the too many curves in the handles?), but I just was not delighted by it (apologies to Massdrop for the first pic!).

Then I got this new Maserin 378/CT in a trade. What a beast! It's like a Ferrari; full of power and muscle, but refined and elegant. It's got the best carbon fiber handles a knife could have, with beautiful bevels and curves. This is truly a gentleman's knife, although too heavy to be EDC'ing daily. It look like a dangerous beast ready to attack you! (apologies to Maserin for the first pic)

I also recently got this MCusta from Massdrop. It has a very interesting design, and a blade that is sharp as hell's furies! It's got a beautiful San Mai-clad VG-10 stainless steel blade, and nifty aluminum handles. (apologies to Japanese Knife Direct for the first pic!)

That's it for now! I will try and take better pics in the future, and post some more brief reviews of my knives!
