New aebl run - anyone want in?

Jt - i might be interested in one of those dutch style cheese knives ... but am traveling just now... back home on sat. How much time do i have to get a design to you?

How do i get in on a couple of the head knives in .04? I looked on the site but did not see that thickness listed.

I guess I didn't officially say I wanted in, but I'd like to be put down for 2 head knives in the .040 thickness if it isn't too late.

I'd be interested in getting a head knife from you in the .04". Would you be supplying the design or should I create and send my own? I'd also be interested in seeing what design you came up with if you are making extra blanks of them to sell. Thanks

Yes I have been meaning to post an update. Steel is on its way, got tracking numbers today. I had to go straight from uddaholm as I needed larger sheets. I normally get all my aebl from AKS as thy have always been amazing to deal with. But for this size of run I needed longer and wider sheets to increase the yield percentage. Considering I was already paying fright I had them toss in a sheet of .138. I have the 4 thicknesses up on the website as we speak. Right now thy are just for your designs as it requires a design file to be uploaded. It does not have to be a DXF, I can work from any file or picture format. If your wanting something cut that we have already cut then wait a few day’s and I will have that section up where you can select from a list of in-house patterns. Thanks guys for all your support

P.S. you find the plasma cutting service on our store under services; I will post a link below. If you discover an issue please let me know and I will fix it ass soon as I can.

Looks like it is working but you are going to have confusion on the square inches question. You are going to have people not order because of that.

Also some automated email (which shopify does have) after the order to confirm the order as well as repeating the blurb that the invoice occurs once the cutting has begun would be a good idea.

On that note did you get my order from the website for the hunter?

it did seem confusing to me as well. If it were me Id probably have a few different price points for each range.
X price for blades up to 1.25" x 8", Y price for blades up to 1.5" x 10", Z price for up to 2" x 14",
larger sizes contact for quotation...etc. Multiple blades could be ordered just by adjusting quantity....
any savings you can get from nesting/combining orders etc should be savings for you

This is the issues we are having with wix/Ecwid. Thy are currently working on a solution for me and if not then we will switch. The square inches is a way for us to charge for the material you use. You basically calculate the square inches of the bar you would need if you where to grind it from a bar. here is a picture to help describe how to do it.
