New and 1st post

Hi,
Ok, i am new and looking to see if anyone is in the Delmarva Peninsula area.
I was hoping to maybe get started right and could visit someone making knives and get some eyes on.
Things are a bit expensive, hate to make too many errors starting out.
I have been searching through the post, trying to review the 2x72 belt grinder info.
Wow, lotsa info.
Cant decide rather to build or buy.
There is a garage full of stuff already, cheap "read HF" drill press and metal band saw.
Also have a small torch, both plasma and reg gas. Been welding a wee bit, but need to learn to braze properly, please don't laugh, but i have been know to overheat a bit.
Anyways, i am just looking for someone to chat with and harass with some questions.

where at? I don't drive so distance is a problem for me. You would be more than welcome to talk knives with me. I have a shop that I make knives in.
I live in it so its open 24/7 lol I'll sleep, somebody else grind. Email me if you like.
