New aquisition

Rob thats a beauty,,, :thumbup::thumbup:

That the Govan Signature model?? The fit & finish on those things are TOP NOTCH!!!,,

I bet you are rocking it! Congrats Man:D:D

You know your guitars! And yes the fit and finish on it is perfect.

The body is mahogany. I checked out a couple of PRS, I'd never played one before and thought I would love them, but sadly, no. They just didn't feel right and the pickup selectors were in a weird spot. I like to flick between the neck and bridge pickups often, and very quickly, and the PRS models (the ones I tried anyway) wouldn't allow that. :(

So anyway, this thing's a beauty! Stay tuned for some serious shredding...

Glad you're satisfied - nothing like a beautiful guitar that fits like a glove and nearly plays itself with a little convincing ;). (BTW, there are some PRS with traditional Gibson style toggle switches like the McCartys, named after the late Gibson exec).

Shredding is not my style but I bet the action on the Suhr is well-suited for it, and I'll jam with you over a dozen or so Foster's if I make it down under! A little more in the Strat direction vs. Gibson direction, whereas PRS seems to straddle the divide. Your Suhr kinda reminds me of the Anderson drop-tops. Thanks for sharing.

You're on! Are you going to Blade this year? I'll be there ;)

Cool Axe Brother.
Wish I could play, I tried but my messed up left hand come into effect because apparently it is a key ingredient to playing.

Love the wood on there.
