It IS a lot of knife, but so well balanced it does not seem heavy or unwieldy at all. Perfect for long sessions.
And the sheath - heavy duty, bombproof, looks great, perfect match for the knife.

Honestly, while I have done a couple tapered tangs and ONE skeleton tang, I like to leave the most mass possible in the handle. With the relatively heavy blade geometries from slab dided and full covex grinds, it sees the best course overall.
