New assisted RAT1's

I have had one for about a month and I love it, It has replaced my Thermite as my favorite Chinese import. I don't know why so many don't like assisted blades, I love them they are so much easier to open in your weak hand. But as for the Rat1a the g10 is aggressive and will pick up dirt or anything else from your hands. The assisted opening is perfect. I like how the pivot screw is done on both sides so if your blade is not centered its easy to adjust. I put a deep carry clip on mine and did reprofiled the edge and polished it. Great blade.

Hey omenwolf, that deep carry clip looks great on your RAT. Mind if I ask where you got it? Love to have one for mine.

I've been eyeing the AO's for a while and I'll be getting one soon. I wonder if they'll do a different color G-10. I'm sure an OD Green would sell very well.

It's Taiwanese, not Chinese :p. Do you mind me asking where you got that clip?

I need to find one of those clips

I had been getting them at Knife Kits. com but they haven't had them lately. You could keep an eye out for them. "knife making parts; "pocket clips"; #25. Walter *just checked, didn't show #25..... PS I like to know where if anyone knows.

My two RAT1's are good at 26 bucks but not at 50, I can get a Kershaw Blur for that price..... For 50 or up, I want a made in USA knife
