MBC= Martial Blade Craft. Locks rated at MBC toughness can endure 200 pounds of torque per inch of blade. So if a knife has a 3.5 inch blade like the Chinook I&II(MBC rated) it can withstand 700 pounds of torque. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.)
