ahh, the fond memories I have of doctors trying to prize an iron fleck out of my eyeball with a syringe needle....
And then the optometrist gringing out the rust spot with the very same type of dremel tool i used to get it in there....
And then the 300$ bill for it all...

Hey DIJ, we must be cosmicly linked. One night in the ER they are trying to dig out a .25" long wire with a needle and tweezers, no luck, renumb the eye and give me Darvaset or something. Next day the opthmalogist is using a mini dremel with a rubber wheel to drag it out. Fun stuff, eh?

Howard, those people for the ethical treatment of robots are real bastids, aint they?! You guys ever see the SNL commercial skit for attacking robots insurance? They had the guy from Law and Order as the salesman, selling this policy to old folks. Too funny!

the more you guys talk about it...the more I'm liking the robot-bayoneting thing...:D :p

I don't know; when I saw it I thought Dan was grinding a piece of metal at a big-azz belt grinder!

No imagination I guess... :D

Let's get Dan a dunebuggy, a bullhorn, and some chaps. He'll be after "the juice" in no time;)

"You can end this...just walk away...just walk away."

Dan,

The only thing is you have a serious look on your face in that pic and IMO you are one smiley person so it's a little out of character;)

I got the pic in the avatar, Dan. I wanted to see it bigger to see how you had that sander setup. Still puzzling. I've gotta get more acquainted with mine. How did you get the little wheel out there? Is that a special grinder, or just a normal 1"x48" belt sander? I've heard you say it before, but where do you buy your belts?

more pics...

I would have preferred the first pic below - with a knife in my hand. But, for some reason, it wasn't throwing any spark...

In the 2nd pic I was pushing a little too hard and letting the sparks come all the way around the belt. And yes, hot sparks in the face = not fun. :grumpy:

Check my Shop Tour to see pics of my setup.

I like it and it's good to see you picture again, been a while since I seen you at the knife show. You so look a little slimmer now. Knife junkie. :-)

Got that right! :p

Ain't much fat on zombies either...!
