New Axes from Wetterlings -- Spring 2012

i am a very happily married man... to a beautiful loving wife...
but, why cant she be the CEO of an axe company?:D damn...
just kidding, shes fine the way she is:)
i do have to say that the 'expidition axe' looks pretty interesting... i'm kinda into the bushcraft thing or as i like to call it 'woodsmanship' since i live in and grew up in the woods;)

If your wife ever throws out a question like, "if you could change one thing about me, what would it be?" Well, Babe, if only you were the CEO of an axe company...

Glad to see the carpenter's axe. The straight bit may not bit as deep as a curved one, but in Todd Edwards' 1860 publication "The Young Farmer's Manual" he states that a straight-bitted axe is more efficient since it makes less "mince" in the cut. This holds up to my experience as well, so a full-sized axe with a straight bit is pretty attractive!

I may have missed it, but was there a more specific release date for the new models than spring 2012?

They probably don't want to peg it down too firmly since things can crop up and make a date have to flex a little.
