NEW BABY GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!! Almost a newyears baby

You're a better man than I, Gungadin. All I can raise is a maladjusted cat. Have you thought about getting a Kagas Katne as a "my first khukuri"?;)

Not to sound like a broken record, but Congratulations from me as well! That has to be one of the best ways to start a new year I can think of.

Thanks very much for all the kind words and congratulations!:)

It makes it seem even better getting to share it with all of you guys:)

Ahhh! Some GOOD news If you can find a photographer whose hands don't shake, we might even get some pics

:D:D Haven't even gotten my pics developed yet, but we did have the "hospital Photographer" do some so there might be some hope!;):D

And the most important part of all. Mom and baby both healthy and doing great. Congrats Dad. :D

Congratulations!

It seems like a little peek into the infinite, just when we start to forget.

I'm happy for you Rob!:) I'm glad God blessed you all with good health as well! Now with your new daughter your khukuris will have a little down time to rest!!:p ;) :D Congrats bud!:)

Congratulations Dad! And best regards to the missus and little Sophie.
Fatherhood can be pretty tiring and stressful. You can forget peace, quiet, and privacy for a while, something about a new baby tends to fill a house with people, just when you've got your hands full.

Just remember the "Law of the Grunt"; Never stand when you can sit, never sit when you can lie down, and never lie down without sleeping. It's not laziness, it's just good sense when you're worn out and sleep deprived.;)

MauiRob: I've a son 4 and a half months older than she. He's a smiling baby. A real keeper. Maybe they could grow up, meet each other and get married. Then all our khuks would stay in the family!

:D Now you're thinkin!! How about guns? I've got a couple good ones...;)

Thanks again for congratulations and well wishes!:) ANd compliments on the name Sophie---it just clicked with us. We looked at hundreds of other names but none really worked for us like this one.

more guns than khuks here; you'll have to have a couple more girls as I have two other sons. They can have their pick, both good, one thick and strong and bumps his head, one tall and lean, both have magic and brains.
