I see that Bark River is making a smaller version of the BRAVO.

I have always liked the Bravo but it's always been just a little too big to be a favorite of mine.

This one looks to be near perfect size. It's the one at the top:

According to Mike Stewart:

The Gunny is 7.5 inches Long with a 3.6 Inch Blade.

That would make it sort of like a Fallkniven F1 but with a carbon steel blade, contoured handle and thumb ramp:thumbup:

I haven't bought a barkie in a few months but that one is on my list:thumbup:

Yea that is a great concept blade is there any release date or production date published,I do want one as well.....

I agree Hollowdweller; I'm going to pick one up when they come out. Have you heard a delivery time?

Hopefully it's made from thinner stock that the OG one too, that would make it a real winner.

I, on the other hand, would prefer the one on the bottom much better than the smaller models. Bravo-II? This one will rock!

Thanks hollowdweller....this is good news. I love my Bravo-1 but it is right on the boundary of too thick for my preference. I find myself taking a shorter and thinner blade for most tasks. I've been looking at picking up an RC-3 or RC-4 but I might hold off and wait for this one. Maybe I'll just get them all....who knows. :)

i love the bravo-1... but it is just a tad too big.. the smaller version sounds great...

I think i will make those my first bark rivers i think im going to get the big one and the small one and get a piggy back sheath
