Just to give a little feed back. I too was attracted to the 2nd Hiking Buddy with the bolster. The earth tone scales with bolster have become as much a trademark of your work as the spalted 01. Looks like it found a good home. Hopefully we will see something like it soon maybe in a bushfinger(if so hopefully my timing will be good). Have a great weekend.

I should have let folks choose, thats my fault guys. I thought the white handled one would be the one y'all jumped on, and just wrote it up that way. I don't mind making a lot of that combo. Don't worry about that.

The Bushboot is a sweet knife. I've not been making as many as I should because of the insane demand for the HB. I carried one for a long time, and really loved using it. If its not your style, send it back! No hard feelings about that ever!

I think it all worked out fine in the end, but we will ask in the future(you've opened that can of worms:D) The white is a very pretty knife also. Looking forward to seeing more of the bolster style(I enjoy seeing them even when I am not quick enough to get them)

I believe only the Bushcraft Karda remains available, but dont hold me to it!
Hope this helps, im sure Andy will be along to Correct or Confirm what i stated.
Its listed on the FS Fixed blades, so if you want it dont dilly dally... ;)
 
The only one left is the Bushcraft Karda.

Spent a great week at the river with the family only to come home and find that I missed the EXACT combo of hiking buddy I've been holding out for. That thing is a beauty!
 
Damn, Andy! Your handles are on a completely different level now. I've been away from the forum for a while. I always thought your handles (the entire knife, too!) were spectacular, but the newer stuff you're turning out is simply stunning! Congratulations on all your success.

P.S. Just got my 12" machete (and sheath from Tim) in the mail today. It's everything I hoped it'd be. Thank-you.

Tal is no longer making sheaths. He is taking some time off. You may be able to persaude him, but you will have to contact him directly. If he does not try Bandido Leather Robert will take care of you, plus you wont have to pay for shipping twice b/c he can pick it up at Andys if it has not been shipped yet. There is also Hebert he has a sticky at the top of the FB forum. Good Luck and stay safe over there.
