Welding is both a skill and a trade, highly skilled weldors are common enough, knowledgeable steel tradesman are very rare. I was neither.

When I was searching for TT's electric welding info I stumbled on this old axe patent.You seem to be good at machining...Do you think you could mill an overlaid-type bit for the Sater,to be mechanically attached,like excavator teeth inserts?![]()
