Just received my BCCI news letter and I'm pretty pumped about the new BCCI 110. Drop point S30V with Nickle silver frame and inlay rivets, just mailed out my order form! Anyone else put one on order?

DM, the handles are Checkered Charcoal Dymondwood. There is also a limited run of the handles with raised BCCI lettering on each side. Though the handles leave a bit to be desired for my taste it looks like a fine knife and I've been wanting a drop point 110. Trevor~

I'll be getting one, probably without the BCCI on the scales. Still not 100% decided so that's why I'm only saying "probably". It also states that it has "brushed Tycro subdued finish on bolsters". Whats "brushed Tycro subdued" mean? Is that the normal finish for nickle bolsters or something special/different?

Being a patient and self-actualized man......I will wait for something better than plywood.

;)

My order form is filled out, the check written and will go out in tomorrow's mail. I had to give the charcoal dymondwood scales some thought, but I decided to get one of each mainly to support the club.

I figure that if I don't like the dymondwood then I'll get it rescaled:D I also bought another 501 heritage for keepers in case I lose my edc one. I love that knife, especially the micarta scales. Trevor~

The charcoal dymondwood on the 154cm buildout 110s of about a year ago were nice (but not my favorite scale material). I imagine the checkering effect could be very nice looking, however. The "brushed Tycro subdued finish on bolsters" is obviously something different from the standard polished NS bolsters, so this looks like it would be an elegant looking knife. Tactical? No, I don't think the 110 is really a tactical (though I know some Vietnam Vets will disagree).
The S30V droppoints are sure a hit.

Looks like a winner.

Go for it. Joining the BCCI is the best money, (knife related) you'll ever spend and for a variety of reasons.

Why not call or e-mail Jack Foresman. He's the Membership administrator and they now take credit cards. You might be able to join and order the knife at the same time. Just a thought.

This is the 3rd offering by the club w/ a drop point blade of S30V steel. In the 110 size knife. So, many would agree with you. Plus, two similar offerings for the 112. DM
