New BCCI 110

Well I took the advice here and now i'm a bit unsure,I still have not got any emails back, after sending my credit card info like John suggested,I wouod sure like a reply saying he got my information etc..I like LOTS of communications with anyone i deal with.

It took John a day or so to respond to my email so I don't think it's too uncommon to have a few days before receiving a reply from him. He's always been very nice and answered all my questions. I'm sure he'll respond soon and you'll be good to go, I wouldn't fret to much.Trevor~

Plumber, That one is the 3rd club knife. Welcome, Razor. DM

Yes. Here's my bunch, Ist, 2nd and two of the 3rd one.

I recieved emails from John,he was out of town.I'm a new BCCI member,i don't have my number yet but i'm there.LOL.The knives have yet to be made, its looking like march or so i'm told, can't wait!

Well, good.

It was tense for a while!

Glad it worked out. Now chill......you're IN!!

:D

Yep,my only concern is communications,i like lots of them,i had a bad deal on da bay a few years back, lost $600 and never got it back, had good feedback and communications up until the money order was sent out, thats why i get a bit concerned ,not paranoid or anything.LOL.I can't wait for March and my BCCI info package to arrive!

Razor, don't fret about it. :) Sending a $600 money order to an eBay seller (:eek: ) and dealing with the folks at the BCCI are two totally different things. As far as I'm aware, they are all volunteers and don't get paid for what they do and all have lives outside the Club. Trust me, you will be well taken care of if you never get another e-mail from the membership administrator.

I've bought quite a few knives from the club and after sending in my check, never heard anything again until the knives arrived, but they always did.;)

Well stated. BCCI is not out to make profits, it is simply a volunteer service to collectors by and for collectors. In my short time as member, I've never had a problem. It's true you will not hear from them until the knife arrives. But it's a good trustworthy group. So wait patiently and enjoy.:)

Yes. He's expressing the process correctly. DM

Is it possible to order the BCCI 110 online? I've got the newsletter but would really like some better pics of the knives showing the blade, bolsters, scales etc...going to order one anyway but it would be nice to have something to drool over in color rather than the black and white photo in the newsletter.
Cheers,
Russel

Not to my knowledge. These "club" knives are designed, orders are placed and then they are built and shipped to the club members. Once they ship a member could post a photo on the club website or even here but in this instance, unless the club purchases some extras if you didn't order one you probably can't get one. I'd guess that if you got one and didn't like it someone would take it off your hands in short order.
