OK,So they are calling the new offering the tactical 110,with subdued coating on the bolsters, and charcoal checkered handles,in keeping with the tactical theme, why didn't they use the coated blades like the AG series of knives?I would have liked it much better, especially for a huntiing knife,I would have ordered all that i could instead of one.Any thoughts folks?

What peeved me was that they called them "tactical" in the first place. To me they aren't what I consider a tactical knife design.

I believe they are a tactical knife,in fact maybe the first tactical folder ever carried, vietnam saw lots of soldiers using 110s ,I think all other taactical labled knives could possibly be in line behjind the folding hunter,I think the coating would have made it one of the greatest hunting knives ever offered by Buck..

Well I choose to support the BCCI and opted for one. I also questioned why or what the reason for the "tactical". Either way if BUCK and BCCI put it together I am sure it will be good.

I think it will be a nice looking knife and offer good utility. Atleast, my paperstone does and its the same blade with different handles. DM

I'm in for one,but not for the tactical look, more for the functional hunting knife with a drop point that has some good steel.lol

Can you post a pic of the tactical 110? I would like to see what it looks like.

I saw this offering in the newsletter and was underwhelmed. My black 560 is way more "tactical". I wish they could make the 560s again.

Under the modern definition, Tacky-cool is Tacky-cool and a 110 is a 110 and never the twain shall meet.

Drop point on a 110?

Blasphemy!

I don't have any pics,I was trying to get a bg-42 drop point but nobody wants to part with one,LOL

I like them. To me though, Tactical is more lightweight. But you can call a Buckmaster tactical too. Also FG's help alot when you need a good grip. I chose one of each and will likely steel a blade for a more tactical CF TI 560 style ;)

Here you go guys:

Well, if tactical means ugly.......those things are a huge success and look perfect for the name.

There's a good reason only 50 were made.

They haven't been made yet, plus the 50 BCCI are sold out so someone likes them. (Not you, we know)

Hardly anybody likes them......that's why they have to be run off in lots of 50 for a select group of Buck lovers instead of going into normal production for the public.

;)

Not a fan.
If I wanted a tactical 110, i'd get an AG and put a thumbstud on it and make some carbon fiber scales for it.

Agreed that is a better design. I've done such a thing a couple times, but tossed the bolsters.
