I only have an Izula of the above mentioned. Big fan. There are also a few different people making handles for them if you're not a fan of the paracord wrap.

Wow, good thing that the editing doesn't render the whole post useless. Did you decide on anything yet? Has the BK-2 arrived?
It's only about 2,000 miles, I'm on the way.Slapper, I'd like to hire you to head down to my local B&M and pay them a visit... do what you do best, fella!![]()

Yeah, somebody is responsible for the shortage of BK2's and we should hunt him down and torture him. A real dirtbag, me thinks.
I hope your Campanion gets there soon, brother, really I do. Not to worry, there are brand spankin' new ones rolling off the line everyday.

You might arrive before my Becker...
Cheers!
I'm really just coming to drink beer and play hockey.![]()
I find sharpening my other knives very calming and soothing while waiting for new incomings. Wanna try that, TW? My dealer actually had stock of BK2 when I placed my order. But he went camping right after my order and mail it out one week later. By then all my other knives are hair popping sharp. Haha!
Welcome to the madness. (Has anyone ever made a THIS IS SPARTA remix with ethans face and THIS IS BECKERLAND!!!!).

JRE makes horizontal sheaths for the BK2, about 80 bucks I think. also check with local leather shops or saddle shops a lot of those guys make knife sheaths.Howdy Campers!
After much deliberation and research into fixed-blades, I finally pulled the trigger on one. I had a hard time choosing between a Becker and an ESEE, but finally decided on both. I would buy a larger blade from one manufacturer and a smaller knife from the other. My decision for the large was the BK-2, which I ordered only yesterday, and was planning on picking up an Izula to compliment it, but then I started to focus on the small fixed-blade offerings also from Becker
I like the look of the BK-11. I also like the BK-14 Eskabar, which seems to offer the best of both the BK-11 and the ESEE Izula (note: the Izula is not out of the running yet.) My question: which smaller fixed-blade would you choose to compliment a BK-2?
I like the option of scout carry, which is to say carrying my main fixed-blade horizontally on my belt at the small of my back. I find it the most comfortable method of carry when not humping my main ruck. Can the sheath that comes with the BK-2 be easily modified to accommodate scout carry (I'm right-handed, btw)? If not, are there any affordable after-market offerings you could recommend for this? I love the look of the Hedgehog custom sheath, but for the priceeek
, Id rather pay a few bucks more and buy a small Sebenza! Perhaps I should just be more patient and wait for my BK-2 to actually arrive before I start with such questions
Thanks, fellas!![]()
