BK2 with a 6-6.5" blade for me please.
I think we're long overdue for a new set of Becker designed kitchen knives...
I'd buy that.I'd like a BK16 with a longer handle.
Like a BK-12? Only thing missing is the extra bit of thickness....though you'd have to grind off the thumb ramp.
Hell, yes. Though from what I gather, the Esee collab sets didn't sell that well. Dunno why, bought a couple myself (as gifts) and they were most impressive both in function and value.
A lot of great ideas, so far. My fave would be the Siegle collab. Or the huge barong (or something) Jim Bensinger did....I don't have a pic but perhaps he'll chime in with one. That thing is/was a beast.

The bk 2 is too short for such a stout thickness
I would be very interested in a bk2 magnum with an 8 inch blade !!!
I have always been a proponent of a BK with the thickness and blade shape of the 2 and the size of the 9.... I think without the swedge on the 9 it would baton better and chop better as well as it would have an increased front heavy feel both from the thicker stock and the lack of swedge...... as far as a bushcraft large chopper goes, it would be just about my dream knife.
no brute for you
I would love a Becker Bolo. The Machax reminds me a bit like a bent bolo.A bolo style blade...
